2015 Chrysler 200C

The size of the totally redesigned 2015 Chrysler 200 is not much different from the 2014 edition, but the exterior design has been radically changed. For a car in its price range, the styling is rather striking and has confirmed the new design direction for Chrysler.

The 2015 Chrysler 200 has improved its ranking to 10th of 17 Affordable Midsize Cars. Last year it was towards the bottom of the ranking. This improvement is no doubt due to the improvements in material, design and near luxury feel of the interior over the models of previous years.

The 2015 Chrysler 200 comes standard with 184-horsepower, 2.4-liter 4-cylinder engine that gives adequate power compared to the competition’s 4-cyliner engines. The optional 295-horsepower, 3.6-liter V6 has much better acceleration and a more powerful sounding exhaust. All 2015 200 models come equipped with a 9-speed automatic transmissions that shifts smoothly. However the downshifting is on the slow side during hard acceleration, and the transmission has trouble selecting the appropriate gear.

The 4-cylinder gets 23 mpg city and 36 mpg highway, while the V6 models get 19 mpg city and 32 mpg highway. For a midsize car the 2015 200 is nimble and does 0 to 60 mph in 6.2 seconds. With a retuned suspension the new 200 has a more athletic handling. The all-wheel drive system is new for 2015.

The interior of the Chrysler 200 is elegant and filled with high-end materials and has a luxury car feel. Trunk space is spacious for this class of car. The Uconnect infotainment system is user friendly and easy to operate. While the front seats provide good comfort and support, taller passengers might find the back seats a bit cramped for head and legroom.

There are a number of driver-assistance safety technologies for the 2015 200 which include collision detection with automatic braking, lane departure warning and parallel/perpendicular parking assist. The adaptive cruise control has a stop and go feature. This feature will bring the vehicle to a complete stop and then re-engage cruise control once traffic begins moving.

Other available options include leather upholstery, adjustable heated front seats, automatic dual-zone climate control, a dual-pane panoramic sunroof, a 9-speaker audio system, satellite radio, Bluetooth, and Wi-Fi hot spot capability.

Other available features include rear parking sensors, rearview cameras, blind spot monitoring, and rear cross path monitoring.

Over the last five to ten years, plenty of vehicles have come to market that get their inspiration from off-road vehicles but fail to deliver on those capabilities. If you’re the type of person who wants your vehicle to live up to the image its design creates, you’ll be very happy behind the wheel of a 2015 Jeep Cherokee.

Even though this Jeep in Payson is a small crossover SUV, the rock crawling ability it delivers is uncanny. And while it’s awesome to have the option to head off-road whenever you want, it’s also nice to know that the Cherokee delivers excellent performance on paved roads as well.

Driving, the Interior and More

This Cherokee model is available with either a four or six-cylinder engine. While the four-cylinder offers a solid performance, if you’re the type of person who’s definitely into power, you’ll want to go with the larger engine.

With either engine, you can count on an enjoyable driving experience both on the road and off. One of the reasons for the Cherokee and its reliable performance is the fact that it offers drivers the ability to choose the right setting for a specific situation. You can opt for Snow, Sport, Sand/Mud or Rock based on the current conditions you’re facing.

While the Cherokee is able to deliver an impressively rugged performance, that doesn’t mean you have to compromise when you’re inside. With an upscale interior layout and available options like soft Nappa leather seats, you’ll feel very comfortable any time that you’re in this SUV.

A really cool feature offered by this new Jeep is a wireless-device charging pad. That means instead of worrying about carrying around multiple cables to ensure that all your devices have plenty of juice in the battery, you can use this single pad for all of them.

If you like what you’ve read so far and want to learn even more about this vehicle by seeing it in person, all you have to do is stop by Chapman Payson Auto Center and a friendly member of our team will be happy to help you out.

What parent isn’t familiar with kids fighting over who’s going to get which seat? While many parents accept that these types of fights are just part of having kids around the same age, it is possible to broker peace by enabling everyone to get what they want.

If that sounds too good to be true, then it means you need to come to Chapman Payson Auto Center as soon as possible. The reason is once you see the new Dodge Grand Caravan in person, you’ll understand how it will be possible to keep your kids happy even when you have to go on extended drives.

What Makes the Dodge Grand Caravan a Great Family Vehicle?

One of the reasons that the new Dodge Grand Caravan is a great vehicle for the entire family is because it has something to offer for everyone. The long list of benefits provided by the Caravan starts with its power and fuel economy.

Because the Grand Caravan has the most powerful engine in its entire class, you’ll enjoy smooth and reliable performance whenever you’re on the road. While it has ample power, it still comes through in terms of fuel economy by delivering 17 mpg city and 25 mpg highway.

Not only does this Dodge offer seating for seven, but whenever you need to transport more cargo than people, you can easily create lots of space thanks to the presence of Stow ‘n Go 2nd-row seats. These seats make it easier than ever to create the space that you need.

As previously mentioned, the Grand Caravan is special thanks to the fact that it can keep multiple kids happy at the same time. One way it accomplishes that often challenging goal is by having two rear screens available. Opting for this feature is a great way to complement the other technology features of the 2015 Grand Caravan and also ensure no one feels like they’re stuck in a bad seat while a DVD is playing.

To top off its list of appealing features, the Grand Caravan scores great in the safety department. You can feel confident on the road thanks to electronic traction & stability control,  anti-lock disc brakes and airbags throughout the entire vehicle. Since this vehicle checks all the boxes, all that’s left to do is for you to come see it in person!

Americans Feeling the Need for Speed

When Dodge came up with the idea for a 707 horsepower version of the Challenger and Charger and dubbed it the “Hellcat,” chances are the company underestimated the demand. With more than 9,000 orders for the cars on the books, the company has only been able to deliver about a fourth of that amount. New Hellcats are showing up on Internet auction sites with price tags at 20 to 30,000 dollars more than the sticker. Still, if you’re intent on reliving your youth or experiencing what it’s like to blast off in a rocket, the Hellcat is the car for you.

Delivery Limited to One Per Month

Dodge dinged some dealerships for taking Hellcat orders that they have no chance of fulfilling. Although the company has placed a temporary hold on orders, it is expected to limit dealerships to no more than one Hellcat per month until vehicle production can be ramped up. If you’re interested in a chance at owning one of these hellions of the highway, contact the sales crew at Chapman Payson Auto Center for the latest on the next delivery.

Puts the Muscle Back Into Muscle Car

Both versions of the Hellcat come with a supercharged 6.2-liter HEMI engine that produces a gut-wrenching 650 foot-pounds of torque to go along with the massive horsepower. Tromp on the gas and both vehicles reach 100 miles per hour in just 13 seconds, well on the way to a top speed of more than 200 mph. With a base price of around $60,000, the Hellcat is designed to compete with the Camaro ZL1 and Mustang GT500 in a continuation of the battle for highway domination that began in the 1960s.

Automatic a Little Quicker than Manual

Although your race car roots may scream at you for considering an automatic in such a supreme racing vehicle, you should know that reviewers covered the beloved 0-60 mile per hour test faster without having to shift. The automatic posted a time of 3.9 seconds, as opposed to 4.2 while shifting. Lest you’re concerned that this will make it harder to burn off the rear tires at every opportunity, the automatic comes with a button that turns of traction control. Flip the switch and stomp the gas and they’ll come to know and love you at the local tire store. Check in with the pit crew at Chapman Payson Auto Center for the next opportunity to test drive a Hellcat.

If you’re looking for a SUV that doesn’t make compromises, the 2015 Dodge Durango is the perfect match. While it has all the capabilities you would expect from a traditional SUV, the Durango also provides the fuel economy, handling and ride of a modern crossover. Regardless of which of the five models you choose, you can count on enjoying great styling, power, fuel efficiency and advanced technology options.

A Look at the Different Dodge Durango Models

The 2015 Durango is available as a SXT, SXT Plus, Limited, R/T or Citadel. In terms of power, the SXT, SXT Plus, Limited and Citadel feature a 3.6 V6 24-Valve VVT engine. With the R/T, the engine is upgraded to an even more powerful 5.7-Liter V8 HEMI MDS VVT engine.

All of the models feature an 8-speed automatic transmission. The SXT has a maximum towing capacity of 6,200 pounds, while the other models increase the towing capability to 7,400 pounds.

In terms of technology, one of the features that makes the Durango so enjoyable to drive is its Uconnect audio system. Ranging from 5.0 to 8.4 depending on the specific Durango model, Uconnect makes it easy to enjoy songs on the radio or ones playing directly from the MP3 player of your choice.

The Durango also offers a lot of different options for colors. While the colors vary for some of the different models, each Durango model is available in at least six different colors. All of the models are also available with 2 or 3 different interior colors.

Although it’s clear that the Durango is packing a lot of power, one reason so many drivers are very excited about this SUV is because of the fuel economy that it offers. Depending on the specific model, the 2015 Dodge Durango offers fuel efficiency as high as 25 mpg highway.

If you’re excited about the latest generation of the Durango and want to see a few different models in person, be sure to stop by Chapman Payson at your earliest convenience.
